Vintage Unique Art Nouveau Style Amber & Sterling Silver Bracelet. Gdansk, Poland. From the 1980s.

This is a truly statement piece. A large, elegant bracelet. In the centre sits a large, three-sided Baltic amber cabochon in a warm cognac colour with natural inclusions.

The amber is surrounded by darkened and polished sterling silver. Decorative silver elements, such as stylised leaves and tendrils, twist out from the amber setting. A clasp, which is securely fastened, serves as an opening with a lock.

The piece has three hallmarks: The first two are date stamps with the alloy (925) and the letter G, which shows that the piece was made in Gdansk, the third hallmark is a maker's mark
