The story of Zoll Antiques

Sign - Zoll Antiques
Zoll Antiques opened in 1971 and has been located on Store Kongensgade for 3 generations. Johannes Zoll, Jørgen Zoll and now, Kim Zoll.
In the 1950s to the early 1970s, the Zoll family had a luxury used car dealership in Palæ Garagen.
Installments on the cars were occasionally paid with antiques, after which Johannes Zoll found it natural to start his shop, which was then called Antik 77/Antik ved marmorkirken.
The foundation for a living institution was thus created.

The sofa arrangement in front of the counter became a gathering point for 3 generations of regular customers, where Johannes & Jørgen often offered pastries, coffee and a small avec.

Our most famous regular customer is probably Michael Jackson, who bought from Zoll Antiques every time he played concerts in Denmark. Michael Jackson was very impressed by the atmosphere, the fine uniforms that he bought and used on stage.

In 2012, a generational change began and Kim Zoll took over the store from his father, Jørgen. Zoll antiques then underwent a major renovation and the store got a new look, which characterizes Zoll Antiques today.

To promote Zoll Antiques, Kim participated in the TV program “Price Your Home” on TV2 for the first 3 seasons. The TV program is still a huge success throughout Scandinavia, where you can see Kim Zoll handpicking collectibles and design classics for her store.

Zoll Antiques has thus built up expertise over 3 generations and is known for having a good range of collectibles in a lot of exciting categories.
