Vintage Taylor Barometer. USA. End of 20. Century Angled barometer in light wood with brass details and English-language dial (Stormy/Unsettled/Fair). Barometer is used to measure atmospheric air pressure and predict weather forecasts. Measures the weight of the air to indicate whether the weather will improve (high pressure) or deteriorate (low pressure). Low air pressure (often indicates turbulent or rainy weather) High air pressure (often indicates clear and dry weather).
