Vintage ship lanterns/position light. Scandinavia. Early to mid 20th Century

A set of beautifully patinated vintage ship lanterns (position light) made of robust cast metal, which were originally mounted on a small boat or a ship. The red light indicates starboard, and the green light indicates port. The lanterns are designed for electric light with incandescent bulb. The wiring was originally led up through the fixture above. No wiring is included. The lanterns can be opened from the top, the green lantern is however sealed with paint. On the red lantern, the sealing is broken, and it can therefore be opened. Measurements: approx. 11x6x7,5 cm. Condition: rust and cracked paint, otherwise see images.
