Brass fittings in the middle hold a paper roll, from which the paper is pulled down under the brass band below to notes, shopping lists, dosimeter tickets etc. Round instrument above with scale in °C and °F. Hanging hole above. Characteristic Scandinavian mid-century modern functional art.
