Uniformed wooden figure - “trägubbe”. Humoristic hand-carved Swedish mechanical wooden figure, so-called “ekivok” figure, likely from the middle of the 20th century (circa 1950–1970). Typical Scandinavian folk art with a glint in the eye. A brass pin can be removed from the back, and the figure can “unfold itself”. Natural and age-related patina. The wooden figure is in style with Carl-Johan Trygg and sons' creations, but we have chosen not to attribute it to their workshop, due to the lack of signature/dating on the figure.
Measurements: Ca. 22x6,5x5,5 cm. - unfolded ca. 27 cm. Stand: internal spring loose, otherwise see images.
