Vintage Förster Barometer. Germany, mid 20th Century Round barometer in polished wood with brass details, cream-colored dial with black and gold lettering. Barometer is used to measure atmospheric pressure and predict weather forecasts. Measures air weight to indicate whether the weather will improve (high pressure) or worsen (low pressure).
