Vintage Enbeco Barometer. Denmark, mid 20th Century Round barometer in black lacquered wood frame with brass hanging ring, originally sold through Lauridsen’s Brilleforretning in Kolding. The barometer is used to measure atmospheric air pressure and predict the weather forecast. It measures the weight of the air to indicate whether the weather will be better (high pressure) or worse (low pressure). Low air pressure (often indicates turbulent or rainy weather) High air pressure (often indicates clear and dry weather). Stamped: Enbeco.
