Vintage Barometer. Denmark, mid 20th Century Round barometer in teak frame with brass edge and cream-colored dial. Barometer is used to measure atmospheric air pressure and forecast weather. Measures air weight to indicate whether the weather will improve (high pressure) or deteriorate (low pressure). Low air pressure (often indicates turbulent or rainy weather) High air pressure (often indicates clear and dry weather).
