German WW2 bronze Mother's Cross of 3rd Grade. From 1938. With ribbon in blue and white. This is a German Ehrenkreuz der Deutschen Mutter (Mother's Cross) from the Third Reich. German order, from 1938. The cross was awarded in three classes: bronze (4-5 children), silver (6-7 children) and gold (8 or more children). The medal is made of bronze and enamel with an original blue-white ribbon. It was awarded to increase the birth rate and recognize mothers' contributions to the German empire under National Socialism. Size: ca. 4x3,5 cm. Condition: see pictures.
