Böker Leopard-Damast Letter Opener I. letter opener with scabbard. Germany. 2000-2010.

Letter opener from the knife manufacturer Böker in Solingen. This early edition with serial number 125 is forged and chipped out of a single piece of massive damascened steel in 300 layers. The damascened steel integrates steel from the cannon barrel of a German Leopard 1 tank, which forms the blade's organic pattern. Letter opener is designed with a recurve edge and a suggested tanto tip, and the back is equipped with filework. The base of the handle is marked with the manufacturer's trademark "Böker Solingen" on one side and the individual serial number "125" on the other side. Comes with a corresponding scabbard in black leather.
