Provenance: Part of the collection of retired Major General Søren Bo Jacobsen of military and civilian items he wore or received as gifts on official duties, as an intelligence officer in Afghanistan, major general in the Life Guard and as Defence Attaché in Moscow etc.

Søren Bo Bojesen started his military career in 1974 and became a second lieutenant in 1976 with Russian as his specialty. He served in several units, including the Royal Life Guard, and was later appointed major general. In 2000, he was selected for General Staff courses in Russia, as the only Danish officer since 1917, which led to a role as defence attaché in Moscow from 2003-2008. Stationed in Stettin 2008-2013. Afghanistan 2010. After military service, he was private secretary to Prince Joachim and Princess Marie, and later steward at Aastrup Gods.
