Gandhara and Bactria in Afghanistan: Gandhara and Bactria were two historical regions in what is now Afghanistan and Pakistan. Gandhara was known for its unique blend of Greek, Persian, and Indian culture and is particularly famous for its art and sculpture, especially those related to Buddhism.
