Antique. approx. 2000 years old. Theater ticket in glass. Greek/Indian culture. Gandhara/ Bactrian Afghanistan. Glass fragment with portrait of unknown person functioned as a ticket to the theater and was broken at the entrance.

Gandhara and Bactria in Afghanistan: Gandhara and Bactria were two historical regions in what is now Afghanistan and Pakistan. Gandhara was known for its unique blend of Greek, Persian, and Indian culture and is especially famous for its art and sculpture, especially those related to Buddhism. Bactria (also known as Bactria) was an old region, which was part of both the Persian Empire and the Greek Empire under Alexander the Great and his successors. It was an important center for trade and culture.
