Indian lassi-cup, Punjab British India, from 1909. Drinking cup in light metal with black enamel. The entire outer side is covered with a tight, hand-painted pattern with large boteh-motives (paisley) surrounded by fine leafy branches. On the bottom is engraved “25.01.09 – 0536/10” likely production date (25 January 1909) as well as a serial mark from export order.
