Indian lassi cup, Punjab British India, from 1909. Drinking cup in light metal with black enamel. The entire outer side is covered in a tight, hand-done pattern with large boteh motifs (paisley) surrounded by fine leafy tendrils. On the bottom is engraved “25.01.09 – 0536/10” likely production date (25 January 1909) as well as a series mark from export order.
