This is an original woodcut engraving (Xylography.) cut out from an original Danish newspaper from the 19th century, which was called Illustrated Family Journal. On the back of the frame, there is a cut out of the original front page, date, and title, etc. Attached to document the origin of the engraving for posterity. Mounted in a dark wood frame with a gold-painted inner edge and glass. Dimensions with frame: Approx. 36,7x27,6 cm. Condition: see pictures.
