This is an original woodcut engraving (Xylography.) cut out from an original Danish newspaper from the 19th century, which was called Illustrated Family Journal. On the back of the frame is a cut-out of the original front page, date and title, etc. Attached to document the origin of the engraving for posterity. Mounted in an ornate gilded wood frame and glass. Size with frame: Approx. 22,5x29,5 cm. Condition: crack, see pictures.
