From Weilbach:

Biography Henning Schiøler became a pupil of Peter Rostrup Bøyesen, when this in 1920 left the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts after being passed over for a professorship. In connection with the students' strike, S. also left the school. S. has worked with both oil painting, watercolor, etching and woodcut. His world of motifs was the naturalistic landscape, ships and marine, figure paintings and compositions. The painting is executed in a light brush stroke and with a lively and living pencil work, which conveys the experienced nature. Throughout the years, S. has especially exhibited pictures with motifs from Tåsinge and surroundings, from Skagen and Anholt, a few pictures from the trips, and many from Nykøbing Sjælland.
