Hand-carved Scandinavian Jætte stick figure. End of 20th century. Wooden figure in Nordic folk style. The figure is executed in rough wood with visible saw marks and varies in expression and character, which gives a lively and personal overall impression. Likely executed by unruly boys who were sent to the wood workshop as punishment when they made mischief.
