This is an original woodcut engraving (Xylography.) cut out from an original Danish newspaper from the 19th century, which was called Illustrated Family Journal. On the back of the frame is a cut-out of the original front page, date and title, etc. Attached in order to document the origin of the engraving for posterity. Mounted in a wooden frame and glass. Dimensions with frame: Approx. 40x30,5 cm. Condition: see pictures.
