Provenance: A part of the retired Colonel Søren Bo Jacobsen's collection of military and civilian items he received as gifts on official assignments, as colonel in the life guard and as Defence Attaché in Moscow etc.

Søren Bo Bojesen started his military career in 1974 and became a second lieutenant in 1976 with Russian as a speciality. He served in several units, including the Royal Life Guard, and was later appointed as colonel. In 2000 he was selected for General Staff courses in Russia, as the only Danish officer since 1917, which led to a role as defence attaché in Moscow from 2003-2008. Stationed in Stettin 2008-2013. Afghanistan 2010. After military service he was private secretary for Prince Joachim and Princess Marie, and later the estate manager at Aastrup Gods.
