Provenance: Part of the collection of military and civilian items retired Colonel Søren Bo Jacobsen received as gifts on official missions, as a colonel in the life guard and as Defense Attaché in Moscow, etc.
Søren Bo Bojesen started his military career in 1974 and became a second lieutenant in 1976 with Russian as a specialty. He served in several units, including the Royal Life Guard, and was later appointed colonel. In 2000, he was selected for General Staff courses in Russia, as the only Danish officer since 1917, which led to a role as defense attaché in Moscow from 2003-2008. Stationed in Stettin 2008-2013. Afghanistan 2010. After military service, he was private secretary to Prince Joachim and Princess Marie, and later estate manager at Aastrup Gods.
