Art deco SBF Barometer with thermometer. Denmark. Early to mid 20th century. Weather station mounted in a wooden frame, perfect for the kitchen or summerhouse. Barometer is used to measure atmospheric air pressure and forecast the weather. Measures the weight of the air to indicate whether the weather will improve (high pressure) or deteriorate (low pressure).<> Low air pressure (often indicates turbulent or rainy weather) High air pressure (often indicates clear and dry weather).
