Antique Yatagan sword, from 1883. Yatagan / Yatagan swords originally come from the Ottoman Empire (Turkey) but the type is also widespread in the Balkans, Eastern Europe, North Africa and parts of India. This sword is considered to originate from the Balkans or Eastern Europe, as it is dated 1883 on the blade. The handle is in horn and the blade has various decorations. Dimensions: TL: 51.8 cm.
