Antique Victorian chamber candlestick. England. Approx.1860. Chamber candles in Gothic style. The stage is made of blackened or ebony-stained hardwood with a turned shaft and circular base. The base and shaft are decorated with engraved and punched copper plates in Gothic forms, small copper rivets along the edge, and decorated copper cabochons. The ring handle is in brass with an engraved pattern.
