Our Gentlemen magazine cover, from 1923. Original illustration is performed by French George Barbier. Title: "La Vénitienne" Motive: Theater scene. Our Gentlemen, was a magazine, primarily addressed to gentlemen and the interests that were popular in that era. Produced at Hasselbalchs Printing House. Hasselbalchs was a recognized printing house in Copenhagen, founded in 1845 by Poul Hasselbalch. In the 1920s, it was one of the leading printing houses in Denmark and produced a wide range of printed matter, including books, magazines, and advertising materials.
