Antique Norwegian carved Guldbrandsdalen style wooden salad cutlery, from around 1870. A large, very beautiful salad cutlery set in birch wood. Carved using the traditional Norwegian acanthus curling technique, in the classic Gudbrandsdalen style. The set dates from around 1870 and is typical of Norwegian folk art from the 19th century. The spoon has a faded label on the back. Measurements of the spoon: approx. 30.5x5 cm. Condition: The spoon has a restoration on the tip, otherwise see pictures.
