Antique Norwegian carved Guldbrandsdalen-style wooden salad fork set, from around 1870. A large, very beautiful salad fork set in birch wood. Carved in traditional Norwegian acanthus-rolled technique, in classical Gudbrandsdalen-style. The set dates from around 1870 and is typical of Norwegian folk art from the 19th century. The handle has a faded mark on the back. Measurements of handle: ca. 30,5x5 cm. Condition: The handle has a restoration at the tip, otherwise see photos.
