Antique Danish woodcut. Title: Bazaar in Cairo. From 1881. This is an original woodcut (Xylography.) cut out from an original Danish newspaper from the 19th century, called Illustreret Tidende. On the back of the frame is a cut out of the original front page, date and title etc. Attached to document the origin of the woodcut for posterity. Mounted in a white painted wooden frame and glass. Dimensions with frame: 31x22.5 cm. Condition: see pictures. NOTE! Brass easel not included in the price.
