Antique Burmeister & Wain Rör-Manometer. From late 19th Century
This Rör-Manometer was produced by the German company C. Willstein in Hamburg in the late 1800s. The instrument was manufactured for Burmeister & Wain Maskin- & Skibsbyggeri in Copenhagen and bears the serial number 5414. The manometer is constructed with a round brass case, glass front, and a white dial, measuring pressure from 0 to 120 units. The measurements are indicated in the historical Danish unit 'Pound per Tomme', where the square symbol indicates square, corresponding to the current PSI. Technically, the instrument operates according to the Bourdon principle for pressure measurement on steam boilers and machinery equipment. Measurements: 22,5x21,5x5 cm.
Condition: signs of use, this is a collectible and since we are not experts in Manometers, we cannot naturally guarantee the actual functionality, otherwise see images.
