Large antique Thor's hammer in cow bone and sterling silver. A rare and sought-after Thor's hammer ( Mjølner ), carved out of a large piece of cow bone, set in a leather strap, with two large cow bone beads, 1 on each side of the hammer. A particularly fine sterling silver clasp, completed this piece of jewelry. Provenance: According to the previous owner, he received this piece of jewelry as a gift in the 1970s and it may be even older. Marked: 925 and unclear master mark. Size: hammer: 6,5x6,2x2,2 cm.
