Large Antique Thor's Hammer in Milk Amber and Sterling Silver

Large antique Thor's hammer in milk amber and sterling silver. A rare and sought-after Thor's hammer ( Mjølner ), chip out of a large piece of amber, set into a leather strap, with two large amber beads, 1 on each side of the hammer. A particularly fine sterling silver clasp, completed this jewelry. Provenance: According to previous owner, he received this jewelry as a gift in the 1970s and it may be even older. Stamped: 925 and indistinct maker's mark. Measurements: hammer: 6,5x6,2x2,2 cm. Length of leather strap: approx. 71 cm. Condition: see pictures.
