Antique Faroese pilot whale hunting set. From the beginning of the 1900s. The hunting set from the Faroe Islands consists of a harpoon tip, a spear tip and a hook. Ideally, there is also a hunting knife in a hunting set, however, these knives are typically small works of art that are inherited in Faroese families, where the harpoons, spears and hooks are objects of use and therefore less common for sale than the knives. The set is made of dark painted steel and brass. Dimensions approx.: 36-46 cm. Condition: see pictures.
