Provenance: Part of retired Colonel Søren Bo Jacobsen's collection of military and civilian objects he has received as gifts on official assignments, as a colonel in the Life Guards and as Defense Attaché in Moscow, etc.

Søren Bo Bojesen started his military career in 1974 and became a second lieutenant in 1976, specializing in Russian. He served in several units, including the Royal Danish Life Guards, and was later appointed colonel. In 2000, he was selected for General Staff Courses in Russia, the only Danish officer since 1917, which led to a role as defense attaché in Moscow from 2003-2008. Stationed in Stettin 2008-2013.
