Antique Erhard & Söhne Art Nouveau jewelry box, Germany, from the beginning of the 20th century. A beautiful box made of dark wood, inlaid with Art Nouveau ornamented brass with purple velvet. The box has a working lock with original key included. Provenance: Belongs to an old Copenhagen collection of antiques.

About Erhard & Söhne: Erhard & Söhne is a German company known for producing high-quality Ormolu and other decorative objects. The company was founded in 1844 by Carl Gottlieb Erhard and his two sons. They started by producing fashionable accessories such as miniature objects, doll-room furniture and other objects made of brass, bronze and silver.
