In connection with the students' protest strike, S. also left the school. S. has worked with both oil painting, watercolor, etching, and woodcut. His world of motifs was the naturalistic landscape, ships and mariners, figure paintings, and still lifes. The paintings are executed in a light line and with a lively and living pen stroke, which conveys the experienced nature.
